Size: Miniature - 4.7 × 3.1 × 1.6 cm
This unique combination mineral is from a small, family operated mine located just outside of the city of Ica Peru.
Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper silicate mineral, commonly occurring as blue-green secondary crusts in copper deposits. It was first described in 1806 by Abraham Gottlob Werner, and its name comes from Greek words for gold solder, a nod to an old use in joining gold.
