‘Flower’ Agate is a trade name for chalcedony, a microcrystalline variety of quartz with formula SiO2. Its distinctive pale inclusions create flower-like patterns, making each polished specimen naturally unique. Despite its name, it is not formally recognized as a separate mineral species or officially defined agate variety.
