Although often erroneously linked to prehnite and epidote balls, the area is geologically notable for garnet and vesuvianite diggings located about 2 km east of the locality. Collectors value Sandaré specimens for their association with the first discoveries of green gem garnet in 1994, even though those specific finds originated roughly 50 km south. Today, Sandaré remains relevant to mineral collectors as a key transport junction for high-quality garnet and vesuvianite specimens from the back country villages of Bendougou and Diakon.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Crystal Castle","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48871999307931,"sku":null,"price":10.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0336\/3012\/6217\/files\/04c0301a-6a12-400f-8a4a-6f74bad1ee5b_811370ec-1bdf-4b30-aab7-1287cb465dec.jpg?v=1782695284","url":"https:\/\/www.overtonfamilyjewels.com\/products\/auction-win-5e3098fa-cd70-467b-8302-7b4a9551f1a7-1","provider":"OFJ's Crystal Castle","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
