Hübnerite is a manganese tungstate, MnWO4, in the wolframite mineral series. It was named in 1865 by Eugene N. Riotte for Friedrich Adolph Hübner, a German mining engineer and metallurgist. It is a tungsten ore.
Huanzala Mine in Huallanca District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash, Peru, is a lead-zinc mine known for a remarkable suite of collectible sulfides and fluorite. It is especially famous for world-class pyrite specimens, including spectacular cubes, octahedra, and occasional iron-cross twins, and it has also produced excellent fluorite and notable galena. Collector interest remains high because the mine has long been recognized as one of the most prolific sources of fine mineral specimens from Peru.
