4.8cts and gemmy. This gemstone is quite impressive from the first lot we had cut for us. We sent in the rough and had these custom cut for Crystal Castle.
Diana Maria Mine at Rogerley Quarry in Stanhope, County Durham, lies in Weardale’s Northern Pennine Orefield, in the western extension of the quarry where mineralized east-west cross-veins are exposed. The site is best known for fluorite and associated minerals from the Sutcliffe Vein, including quartz, galena, aragonite, and greenockite. It is part of the same collector-famous district that has produced high-quality fluorite specimens for the mineral trade, and the Diana Maria workings continue that tradition today.
