Highly fluorescent and good color. This Ruby gemstone is presumed to have the common lead glass fill treatment where the stones natural vugs and crevices are filled with a dense lead to help with stabilization.
Ruby is the red gem variety of corundum, with the formula Al2O3. The name comes from the Latin ruber, meaning red, and it was described as a distinct ruby variety in traditional gemology for its blood-red color and clear, facetable quality.
