When a gemstone, especially Sapphire, is this clean, we can only presume it’s lab grown. Deeply saturated and bright orange! Even being possibly lab grown, the value of lab stones stays fairly constant. This stone has an estimated value of $30-50.
Sapphire is the gem variety of corundum, with the formula Al2O3. Synthetic sapphire was first produced in 1902 by the Verneuil flame-fusion process, and its name comes from the Greek word for blue. It is also used in watches and other scratch-resistant applications.
