Dendritic iron quartz is quartz, SiO2, marked by branching iron-oxide dendrites. Quartz was first described by Georgius Agricola in 1546, and its name comes from the German word "quarz"; iron staining in quartz is often noticed in quartz veins and can sometimes hint at gold-bearing material.
There is a small polished ‘natural’ invention in one of the ends.
