Pink amethyst is a variety of quartz from Argentina’s El Choique mine in Neuquén Province, where the deposit was first discovered in 2013. The name combines the familiar amethyst term with its pale pink color.
The front termination on this piece is one of the larger ones we’ve seen from recent lots.
