This Fluorite has a lot more going for it than I can write in a title. Tie-Dye color zoning, beveled edges, interesting fluorescence, insane clarity, and a visible octahedral Fluorite phantom inside of the main crystal. This is an excellent miniature specimen, of great aesthetics and quality.
Yiwu, in Jinhua, Zhejiang, eastern China, is a mining locality in a region best known to collectors for Chinese mineral production rather than a single iconic mine. The area is listed by Mindat as a locality in Zhejiang Province, and the country is recognized by the Minerals Education Coalition as a major producer of natural quartz crystals. For specimen collectors, Yiwu’s value lies in its place within China’s active mineral-producing belt, where quartz and other Chinese mineral specimens are part of the broader market.
